Roth Associates’ expansion to the West Coast has been fruitful, and now the man behind it is being rewarded.

Casey Burnett has assumed the broader role of global managing partner at the New York-based consultancy. Burnett was previously director of West Coast operations, and he retains that title as well.

The 31-year-old executive has worked at the firm since 2004. In 2007, he moved to Santa Monica, Calif. as Roth Associates expanded its footprint both inside the U.S. and abroad. At the time, Roth also forged a joint venture with London-based consultancy The Observatory to manage global and pan-regional agency searches.

Since then, Burnett has been integral to reviews such as BMW and New York Life in 2011 and Conoco in 2009. His ascension recognizes such contributions and signals Roth founder Richard Roth’s intention to use him on global assignments.

The consultancy, which opened in 1986, handles agency searches and compensation negotiations for marketers, which, through the years, have included Gillette, Shell and Bayer.
