Adultery Website Endorses Newt Gingrich on Billboard

Those of you lying awake at night next to complete strangers wondering who Ashley Madison, the dating site for married folks, would endorse for president—wonder no more. It's Newt Gingrich, a self-proclaimed expert on domestic affairs, now appearing on a billboard in Pennsylvania that reads, "Faithful Republican, Unfaithful Husband," and welcoming all to "the AshleyMadison.com era." Site founder Noel Biderman explains: "Now that Newt is the leading contender in the race for the GOP nomination, we felt compelled to make a point to illustrate how times have changed when a serial divorcee/adulterer is capturing the hearts of the American people." (Why Pennsylvania? Biderman says it's the only state where Ashley Madison's membership increased this month. I guess Virginia is for lovers, Pennsylvania is for cheaters and in Maryland you'll just catch crabs.) Gingrich hasn't responded yet, but when he does, he should send candy, flowers and a key to a room at the Holiday Inn. Actually, I find Newt an odd choice, as he recently flip-flopped on the issue by taking a "no adultery" pledge. The group initially romanced Herman Cain, and even offered him a $400,000 job. Leave it to Ashley Madison to throw over its first love and play the field. Back in April, Ashley was all hot for the Kennedys. I guess this crew will jump into bed with just about anyone.
