Aude Gandon, former global account director on L’Oréal at McCann Erickson, has been formally named worldwide account director on Nestlé at Publicis, a McCann rival.
When Gandon left her short stint at McCann earlier this year for Publicis, sources speculated she was in line for the top Nestlé job, which has been vacant since Carter Murray joined Y&R Advertising North America as president and CEO last October.
Gandon was hired at the Interpublic agency in July 2010.
Publicis has been taking Nestlé business away from McCann over the past year: In September Publicis assumed global creative responsibilities for Nescafé and in May the agency picked up U.S. marketing responsibilities for Coffee-Mate.
