It didn’t take Barbara Yolles long to land after leaving McCann Erickson: The agency’s former North American chief growth officer is joining Interpublic sibling Campbell-Ewald as chief marketing officer, a new position at the company.
Yolles, who remains based in Detroit at Campbell-Ewald’s lead office, has been given oversight of the agency’s business development efforts, marketing and communications.
In June, McCann said Yolles was leaving the agency and Alex Lubar, svp, new business at Grey Advertising, was hired as CMO, North America. Yolles had been in the position since May 2011, after being hired by McCann Midwest as its first CMO. She was previously evp, group managing director at Kirshenbaum Bond Senecal & Partners.
