Winter storm Nemo, the blizzard that will descend upon the Northeast tonight, has claimed the first victim of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.
Designer Marc Jacobs announced he would postpone showing his collection from Monday to Thursday because of delivery delays. "We're missing bags, shoes and two fabrics," said Marc Jacobs International president Robert Duffy. “We just want to have the best show possible and show all the product that our design team has been working on so hard for the last six months."
The brand tweeted an apology today:
Sorry everyone, we just want to make it right. MbMJ Mon 8pm, MJ Collection Thurs 7:30pm, both still streaming live mjin.tl/wwd

This isn't the first time Marc Jacobs battled inclement weather. In September 2011, Hurricane Irene played havoc with his show.
Currently, Marc Jacobs is the only designer forced to reschedule. But given the severity of Nemo, more postponements are expected.
